Today is Literary Modiin’s June event - at 20:00 Israel time / 1 pm Eastern / 12 pm Central etc. Register here for the Zoom.

We'll be hearing about three very different books. Jai Chakrabarti’s novel A Play for the End of the World, winner of the National Jewish Book Award for Debut Fiction, takes us from the Warsaw Ghetto to 1970s New York to a rural area in India; Michal Lemberger’s collection, After Abel and Other Stories, feature nine stories written from the points of view of different women in the bible, modern midrash at its finest; and Rena Rossner’s novel, The Light of the Midnight Stars, combines fantasy, history, and Jewish folklore.
