Today is Literary Modiin’s March event - at 20:00 Israel time / 2 pm Eastern / 1 pm Central etc...(Note: we haven't switched to daylight savings time yet in Israel, thus the event will be one hour later than "usual" for those in North America). We'll have our most diverse (geographically speaking) set of authors yet, not to mention three very different books. I adored Derek B. Miller's How to Find Your Way in the Dark (which just won the Association of Jewish Libraries fiction award); thoroughly enjoyed the stories in Ben Sharafski's Returning to Carthage; and am looking forward to remembering the struggle for Soviet Jewry through Pamela Cohen's Hidden Heroes.
