I've pretty much given up on literary journals because of their anti-Israeli bias, but I'm still shocked to hear that one explicitly said "No Zionists."
And yes "moderately wounded" can mean they lost a limb. A friend of mine who works as a nurse at Haddassah told me that once. "Seriously wounded" means their life is in danger.

My wife and I created a wonderful book called "An Artistic Journey Through Torah" which includes for each parsha, an original painting by Debbie (debbiegrossmanart.com) and a adjacent creative writing by me. We are searching for a traditional publisher, and an agent to assist us with the process. Any leads you are willing to share with us would be most appreciate.
