I've pretty much given up on literary journals because of their anti-Israeli bias, but I'm still shocked to hear that one explicitly said "No Zionists."

And yes "moderately wounded" can mean they lost a limb. A friend of mine who works as a nurse at Haddassah told me that once. "Seriously wounded" means their life is in danger.

Thank you for the flowers, Julie. I only managed to go there once myself in the last couple of weeks. I should do it again while the green lasts :)

Hi, Ms. Zuckerman. I really enjoy reading your newsletter. It is inspiring to me as a writer, with one novel published, so far, and as one who cares deeply about Israel and my life as a Jew. Thank you so much. I just now ordered a signed copy of your debut novel to be delivered to me here in South Florida.

I was wondering if you can refer me to a literary agent. My wife and I created a wonderful book called "An Artistic Journey Through Torah" which includes for each parsha, an original painting by Debbie (debbiegrossmanart.com) and a adjacent creative writing by me. We are searching for a traditional publisher, and an agent to assist us with the process. Any leads you are willing to share with us would be most appreciate.

Congratulations on the obviously upward trajector of y our career.

I hope to hear back from you. Thank you. Alan Bryce Grossman. alanbrycegrossman.com 954-651-0615. GrossmanLawMiami@gmail.com.
